Martha Stewart Bunny: Pretty in Pink

After a year of new baby boys in my life, I am happy for an excuse to make something very girly in pink. Not that I don't love all my lovely little boys, but oh, pink is just so pink! Here is the Martha Stewart pattern bunny (with a Miranda twist) for a little girl I know called Charlie. I think it's fun to use different fabrics for the front and back, arms and ears - there are just so many beautiful fabrics in the world, I have to find a way to use them all! I've also given this little bunny some accessories just like all good New York girls should have. 

We spent Memorial Day weekend in CT with Charlie's parents and grandparents - what a privilege. The sun shone, the pool was warm, the BBQ fired up and the company fantastic. Charlie had a full day in the pool while her new bunny stayed safe and dry and watched from the side with us. What fun!
