Missoni Fabrics

What a stroke of luck! I'm incredibly excited to share these beautiful fabrics that I've been so lucky to have been given. I work close by to a gorgeous linen and bathware shop in TriBeCa which happens to stock Missoni Home linen. Although I was only in the store to browse (who can afford a $900 comforter cover after all!:) I inquired about the swatch books that they had in the store because just like fashion seasons, new collections must come in every so often and the books change.... Six months later and out of the blue I got a call from the lovely store to pick up this amazing selection of Missoni fabric samples, their old swatch books! I cannot wait to make my very own unique Missoni quilt from these sample fabrics. What a treat and a unique situation. This fabric is not for sale, it can only be bought as items for the home or clothing so I know I have to make something very special from this very unique collection of fabrics. It just goes to show, as my American friend always says "it's ok to ask for what you want in America"...and if you're really lucky, you just might get it!

Your luck is amazing! I love Missoni, and I can only imagine how beautiful a quilt made of all different kinds of swatches turned out.
