Debbie Bliss - Hooded Carrying Bag

Here is a look at a knitting project I'm half way through - a very cute hooded carrying bag in cream cashmerino wool from Debbie Bliss. Debbie is renowned for her somewhat mathematical knitting patterns, but they are so beautiful and so worth it. This is from her lovely book Essential Baby in which you can find some of the most adorable knitted baby items and some of the most mummy inspiring photography ever! I challenge you to read this book and not say 'aww' all the way through! I've completed the back and sleeves so far and I'm moving into shaping the hood. So far so good. The wool is incredibly soft and a pleasure to knit with, even if cream is not the most sensible baby colour ever. I can't wait to finish it and find a home for it among one of my mummy friends!
