My Kitchen

My kitchen is small, but it is my favourite place of all. The bedroom is messy, a place to hide from the world, the living room is grown up, not a place to relax, the bathroom is for ablutions, there's no room for concoctions, but the kitchen is where I can stand and stare, where I can dream as I make cake and nibble and take, I sip a glass of wine as I stir and admire my collection of colourful flare. The kitchen is my favourite place of all.
