Plants + Punch

These beautiful plants, my two succulents, just keep on giving and look beautiful paired with fresh cut flowers. I love the intense hues of the Jonanthan Adler vases next to the subtle gradients of the succulents' leaves. This was a lovely summer evening, the table is set in anticipation of some friends arriving for supper. The punch is a fruity variation on a Cape Codder cocktail and the cake is an Expresso Chocolate Cake that we devoured later (recipe to come). Entertaining is part cocktail, part company and part comforting surroundings!
