Friday, April 23, 2010 at 3:01PM My obsession with ice cream came to a head on October 31st when I put the finishing touches (plastic key chain 'sprinkles') to my very own Sexy Ice Cream outfit for Halloween. I made the 'ice cream' from pink velour stitched into a tapered tube, filled and wrapped into icecream shape submission. The 'cherry' a painted light fitting, the 'sauce' hot pink vinyl, the 'waffle dress' a customized American Apparel number. Halloween truly is the best holiday and especially in New York, there is simply no excuse not to dress as giant sexy food. What a glorious country America is. Being asked by some ladies in the West Village if I wanted licking was the highlight. What every ice cream hopes for.
This was waiting for me when I returned (very late home) from Karaoke that night - oh joy!
Some weeks later I saw this cute cartoon in Time Out Online :) I made the hallowed pages of TO NY!
