The Renaissance Kitchen

Two kitchen scenes. Dramatic lighting, stone surfaces and flour conjure up images of huge dungeon kitchens where chefs toiled. Ironically my apartment is miniscule and on the 9th floor. Unintentionally dramatic, but pretty cool. The second shot, taken at 4am on a drunken saturday night shows an 'early breakfast'. A comical still life is about to be consumed by some drunken friends. What inspired them to shoot it before ravaging it I can't imagine, but I'm glad they did because the result is rather beautiful.
