Quilting Continued

I've finished my first quilt and I simply couldn't be prouder. I think I'm in love, with quilting. It's a wonderful craft that requires both precision and vision. Being able to concentrate on the tiniest details and envision the fully finished complexity of colours and patterns are the enjoyable requirements of good quilting. So satisfying!

This quilt is approximately 1.5yrds square. The pattern was provided by the lovely teacher at Purl Soho, Cassandra. It's just the right size for a baby to lie on happily, so I think it will have to go to one of my lovely mummy friends. I made the play cube from the left over material. I wish I'd though to add a jingle before I stitched it up, but I was so keen to finish it!

I will be embarking on another quilting project imminently. This was so fun. Happy Quilting everyone!
